Beef and Cabbage Stew


Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1/2 c chopped celery

  • 1/2 c finely minced onion

  • 2 carrots

  • 16 oz canned tomatoes

  • 3 c broth (more if desired for thinner consistency)

  • 1 t dried basil

  • 1/2 t dried oregano

  • 1/2 t dried rosemary

  • 1/2 t onion powder

  • 1/2 t garlic powder

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

  • 1/2 head green cabbage

Instructions:

  1. Over medium high heat in a soup pot, brown ground beef, add celery, onion and carrots and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes so they start to soften.

  2. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Once boiling, turn heat down allow to simmer for about 30 minutes.

  3. Adjust salt and pepper as needed. Enjoy!
